Frustrating Sizes

My wife was gone the last few days, and I was home taking care of the place. I wanted her to have a clean slate when she got home, so I cleaned up the place really well and did the laundry. The first load was what I thought to be a large load. I look at the load size selector and this is what I saw:

What was wrong the the standard small and large?  What do you do when you only have a large load?  Instead of it being an easy selection, I had to wonder if medium would be enough, and if extra large would be too wasteful.

Terry and I just laughed really hard about this. That actually is a pretty strange selection of settings! I think what Terry would end up picking and what I would end up picking would be different. What did you end up picking?

That is a Starbucks washer! On my dryer my clothes dry better on “Delicate-Low Heat” than on the “High Heat” setting….uh, why?

You are a great guy and husband to be considerate of your returning wife!

Stacy,

I ended up picking the “Extra Large”. I just didn’t want the medium to not be enough. I just wonder what the person was thinking when they labeled those…
