How and Why You Should Use RSS

Abraham Piper wrote up an excellent article on the Desiring God Blog about using RSS feed readers to keep up with the blogs you read.  He gives step-by-step instruction on how to setup an account using Google Reader.  The article is very well worth the read if you read blogs and you do not use a feed reader.

If you use a Mac, I personally recommend that you use a program called NetNewsWire.  It is completely free and very easy to use.  You can set it up to check all of your subscribed blogs for new posts anywhere from every 30 minutes to once a day (or manually).

I use NetNewsWire, too. It’s the best I’ve found.

Don’t tell, but I learned how to use Google Reader just to write that article.
